Henry was born September 5, 1948 in Rensselaer, Indiana to the late George and Sylvia (Hoaks) Dick. He was a graduate of Morocco High School in 1966 and briefly served in the US Army. Professionally, Hank was a long-time member of the Painters Union and later retired from the Indiana Veterans Home as head of maintenance where he eventually met his wife, Valerie. He was an active member of Federated Church in West Lafayette. Hank loved to paint, have breakfast with friends and men's coffee at church. He was an Indiana Fever and Purdue fan and loved movies, especially action and westerns. He loved his family dearly and could always put a smile on someone's face. He will be deeply missed.
Hank is survived by his wife, Valerie Brock; children, Jennifer (Chuck) Andrews of Florida, Haily (Kyle) Rayburn of Indianapolis, Riley (Michael) Tolley-Jones of Tipton, Joe (Amy) Trapp and Tim (Marie) Kroll; siblings, Sylvia Sexton and Judy (Morgan) Sexton; and four grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Michael Dick; five brothers and six sisters.
