HENRY HOLLAND, JR.
Henry Holland, Jr., age 79 of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, died at his home surrounded by his family on Sunday, February 25, 2024. He was born Henry Charles Holland, Jr. in McKeesport, Pennsylvania on March 15, 1944, the only child of Henry, Sr. and Margaret Holland.
Henry graduated from McKeesport High School the class of 1962 and served and worked for the U. S. Military in the Army and Air Force for 35 years. In his work he was a mechanic and technician with the 911th Air Wing unit. Outside of his work, his passion was Classic Cars and Car Shows.
He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife of 55 years, Judith Ann (Gilbert) Holland; 5 children, Kathy (Mike) Ellington of Marysville, Ohio, Michael Holland of Jefferson Hills, Jason Holland of Elizabeth, Pennsylvania, Kelly (Frank) Magill of Pleasant Hills, Pennsylvania, and Shannon Holland of Jefferson Hills and 5 grandchildren, Brian Holland, Frank and Tony Magill and Riley and Kayla Ellington.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, from 2 – 4 pm and 6:30 – 8:30 pm in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51, Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania 15025 (412-384-0350) www.stephendslater.com. A Blessing Service will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at 10 AM in the funeral home followed by Henry’s burial in St. Clare Cemetery, Clairton, Pennsylvania with Military Honors.
