Henry Keller, age 89, of Rockport, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2025. Born on December 9, 1935, Henry was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Henry was with his loving wife, Charlene, for many years, and together they built a life filled with love and memories. He was a devoted grandfather to his granddaughters, Stephanie Pollard (Oliver), Stacey Gillis (James), Krystal Dowdy (Glenn), and Sierra Brotzman (Thomas), and he cherished every moment spent with them. He was also a proud great-grandfather of Aidan, Glen, Cameron, Sydney, Logan, Gracelyn, and Harlyn who brought him much joy in his later years. His love for family was at the center of his life.
Henry proudly served his country in the United States Army, carrying the values of duty and service with him throughout his life. His passion for baseball led him to spend countless hours at the Little League fields, both as an enthusiastic spectator and a dedicated umpire. He loved watching young athletes grow in the game and took great pride in being part of their experience.
He was preceded in death by his son, Curtis Keller (Susan), whose memory Henry carried with him throughout his life.
Henry’s family will forever remember him for his kindness, humor, and unwavering support. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 10:00 am until service time of 2:00 pm at Charlie Marshall funeral Home in Rockport. Burial will follow at the Aransas Memorial Park Cemetery in Rockport, and the family asks that donations be made to American Cancer Research in Henry’s memory.
Henry is survived by his loving wife, Charlene, granddaughters, Stephanie, Stacey, Krystal, and Sierra, as well as many other extended family members and friends.
