My condolences to his siblings and family. My whole family went to school with Henry and his siblings. I stood up in Henry's wedding but, lost touch with him over the years. I missed the notice about his death because we stopped getting the local paper. If I had known I would have shown up at the funeral. Rest in peace Henry.

To Karen, Daniel, Lydia, and Stephen,
It is comforting to know that Henry is with Jesus his Savior. His love for The Lord was apparent. We are very sorry for your loss and wish you peace and comfort.

My condolences, too. Henry was a best friend in our Mountain View Ave neighborhood. We also found ways to enjoy ourselves- from getting home after school at 3:00 and being able to play outside until dark. Of course, burning plastic model cars out near the garage and finding 5-legged frogs in the local pond were common events. (Don't know what happened but that one year saw a frog over-population.) One particular memory that still makes me smile is when Henry tried to ride my motorized/back-yard-custom 26-inch Schwinn bike. He had to tip it over just a bit to get on it... but gas then splashed from the gas tank and created a quick (poof) fire. My bike design wasn't perfect but, hey the fire was quickly extinguished. Henry looked apologetic but I had to laugh- even to this day. Henry- you were the best! How do I know? I teared up several times while writing this. Good-bye, friend. I'm sure you're in good hands.

Henry and his beautiful family were my good neighbors here in Utica for years .we often spent time talking over music , as both of us also played accordion. Often we talked about work ,about Jesus and building a relationship with Him ! He was a gentle man always waving to his neighbors everytime he saw us. He was truly a man who followed Jesus“s footsteps in everything he did! I will never forget him!!

My condolences to the family at this sad time. I recall our families growing up together in the neighborhood and Henry being a talented musician. Sending healing thoughts to you all.

Henry was a kind, gentle, soft-spoken man. I had the pleasure of meeting him through Lydia. My deepest sympathy for the family.
