Henry O. "Nick" Klein

Henry O. "Nick" Klein, age 82, U.S. Army veteran, a resident of Naperville, IL since 1985, formerly of San Francisco, CA and Concord, CA, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Meadowbrook Manor of Naperville. He was born July 11, 1943, in San Francisco, CA.
Beloved husband of Karen Klein, loving father of Jeff (Shannon) Klein of Lisle, IL and Justin (Julie) Klein of Bartlett, IL, loved grandfather of Miles Klein; Joshua and Jacob Klein, devoted son of the late Henry and Dorothy Klein, dear brother of the late Julie Gibson, the late Jeanne Sommer and the late Renee Ramsey, fond uncle of Simon (Amy) Gibson and Alison (Robert) Lyon, and friend of many.
A determined and sharp real estate negotiator who worked for years at the United States Postal Service, he helped build out many of the post office locations in the Midwest including his favorite project which was the main post office in Chicago. He had a knack for numbers, markets, always read the details and loved to give his view on business decisions. He had a great love of riding his motorcycle on many trips across the US and abroad with his close friends. He enjoyed vacations to sunny destinations, going to the movies, he appreciated a fine dinner and good cigar. His memory will stay with us.
