David Lockhart, Jr., a man known for his generous spirit and infectious humor, left this world peacefully on April 8, 2025, at TriStar Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, Tennessee. Born on June 23, 1962, in Woodland, California, Henry was a bright light in the lives of those who knew him.
A proud graduate of Hickman County High School, David went on to build a career in construction, specializing in drop ceilings and tile work. His meticulous craftsmanship and strong work ethic were evident in every project he undertook. An outdoorsman at heart, David relished the time he spent in nature. He was an avid fisherman and a skillful deer hunter, finding solace and excitement in the beauty and tranquility of the wilderness. He was often described as goofy, always ready with a joke or a clever quip to brighten someone's day. Yet, beneath his lighthearted exterior was a selfless and loving soul, always putting the needs of others before his own.
Those left to cherish his memory are his father, Jackie Wayne Dyehouse; daughter, Lindsey (Robert) Fox; grandchildren, Michael, Elizabeth, and Landon Fox; siblings, Linda (Everette) Chandler, Wayne Dyehouse, Sheila Dyehouse, and Darla Gilmer; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Lee Dyehouse; father, Henry David Lockhart, Sr.; and brother Jimmy Dyehouse.
There are no services planned at this time.
