Born August 9, 1939 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Henry Meier and Margaret Grey Meier.
Henry was a faithful member of Hope Lutheran Church in Cranberry Township. He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1962-1965. He was a member of the John E. Mair Lodge #729 F&AM Masonic Lodge in Mars and Pittsburgh's Syria Shriners Directors Staff.
Henry leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 56 years, Shirley Ann Fauth Meier; his daughters, Michelle Sampson and Lori (Bruce) Kerr; his grandchildren, Trent and Zachary Sampson, and Sydney and Mason Kerr; and his sister, Shirley (Edward) Novak.
In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by his two brothers, William and Richard Meier.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Hope Lutheran Church, 8070 Rowan Road, Cranberry Twp., PA 16066, with Rev. Ronald Brown, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating in Henry's honor to Shriners Hospitals for Children at https://www.shrinerschildrens.org/en.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Boylan-Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home & Cremation Svcs., Inc., 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Twp., PA 16066.
