Henry was born on April 6, 1928 and passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2017. Henry was a resident of Wilson, North Carolina at the time of his passing. He was married to Anna. A Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday with a celebration of his life following at 10 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church 700 Nash Street Wilson. Father Bill John Acosta-Escobar will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorials by be directed to Wilson Pregnancy Center 702 West Broad Street Wilson North Carolina 27893.

Henry, my dear old friend, you added much to the lives of everyone you encountered and certainly are the first and best memory of the meaning of friendship. We had many good times together, from building boats that could not float to soap-box racers that would not roll to lemonade stands that were a health hazard, but we had a great time doing it. I don't think anything was ever beyond the reach of our imagination, and practically everything was just beyond our reach.
You had a wonderful personality, a tremendous sense of humor, and were in all respects a kind, good man that it was an honor to know. I often wish that events had not caused us to live at a distance, we could have gone on building useless objects all through our adult life. Maybe that was the reason--a wiser hand decided on distance. In any event, I know that all your family and friends miss you, as I do. Your old buddy, Bunk.
