Henry Neal Ricklefs

Henry Neal Ricklefs, 88, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday November 17, 2024, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha of prostate cancer. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 23 at First Lutheran Church, Cedar Rapids. Inurnment at the Lutheran Cemetery in Decorah at a later date. Survivors include two daughters, Lisa (Corey) Jordan and Linda Ricklefs both of Cedar Rapids; brothers, Lynn and Wayne and a sister, Shyrl Ellison. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded and death by his wife, Helen, his parents, a sister and brother, Charles and Felicia.
Henry was born on June 25, 1936, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Henry and Mary Ricklefs. He married Helen Drievold on Oct. 28, 1967, in Rock Island, Illinois. He enjoyed Nascar, pro-wrestling, making art and reality TV. Henry was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be greatly missed.
