Henry Eugene Surginer

Henry Eugene Surginer, 89, of Burleson passed away Friday, Dec. 27, 2024. He was born Feb. 14, 1935, in Whitney Hill, Texas.
Henry was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a retired bricklayer and did all times of odd jobs whenever he could help somebody. He loved to deer hunt and liked music, especially gospel singing.
Preceded in death by his parents and 6 of his siblings with Betty Tawater being the only one surviving.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Surginer, daughter, Lorraine Phinney and son, Mickie Surginer, all of Burleson; and extended family: three daughters, Elizabeth, Kathy and Alicia, five grandsons, Thomas, Brent, Cody, Daniel and Jay and one granddaughter, Becca.
As well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025, in the Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Andrew Wolfenbarger officiates. Visitation is one hour before service and interment is at 2:30 p.m. at Smith Bend-Coon Creek Cemetery.
