Henry Webb Obituary
Born in Crandall, Georgia, to the late Velma and Earl Webb of Crandall, Bill grew up with a foundation of hard work and devotion. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, where his bravery earned him the Purple Heart. Following his military service, Bill answered a different call to serve, spending many years as a Baptist Preacher, sharing the gospel and guiding his community.
In March of 1967, Bill married the love of his life, Wanda Patterson Webb. Together, they built a beautiful legacy of family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Wanda, and their three sons: Johnathan William "Billy" Webb (Christa) of Old Fort, TN; Daniel Webb (Pam) of Georgetown, TN; and David Webb (Susan)of Ringgold, GA.
His legacy continues through his seven grandchildren: Derek (Emily) Webb, Brandon (Summer) Webb, Tiaira Webb (Greg Nelson), Shawna Webb (Edgar Mejias), Justin Webb, Caleb Webb, and Zack Risley (Shelby Bales). Bill was also the proud great-grandfather to 18 great-grandchildren. He is survived by his siblings: Tommy (Donna) Webb, Jackie Webb, Earlene (Ronnie) McAbee, and Sheila Morgan.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 28, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Fairy Valley Baptist Church.
A celebration of Bill's life and ministry will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Fairy Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth Pritchett, Rev. Robbie Chastain, and Rev. Crafton Dover officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post # 167.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Derek Webb, Brandon Webb, Edgar Mejias, and Zack Risley.
Peeples Funeral Home & Crematory of Chatsworth has been entrusted with the arrangements for Mr. Henry William "Bill" Webb.
