Herb Dascombe

Herb Dascombe was born March 15, 1933 in Knox, Pennsylvania, the second of three children, to Ronald E. and Mary B. Dascombe. Following graduation from high school, he was drafted into the army. He married his high school sweetheart, Mary Elizabeth Hugus, on December 27, 1954. Herb graduated from Westminster College, Pennsylvania and in 1959 began his career with Nationwide Insurance in Butler, PA where he earned the CPCU professional designation. He was a dedicated employee for 35 years.
Herb was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend. He loved music and was a member of the church choir. He enjoyed church activities, travel, volunteering and a good bridge game.
Herb was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Ronald Dascombe, and daughter, Barbara Dascombe Lee. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Mary, children: Bill (Maria), their children Natalia and Nico; Bob (Dale), their children Addison (Gabrielle), Landon (Nichole), Skyler (Winston), Camden; and a sister, Eleanor Dascombe. He was blessed with four great grandchildren.
