HERBERT LEON DAVIS, JR.

 

 

Herbert Leon Davis, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 8, 2023, at the age of 44. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. “Storm,” as he was affectionately known by family and friends was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School. He served his country in the U.S Army. Herbert was the owner of Storm Front Hospitality and Security. Beloved husband of Caval Celistan. Loving father of Shayla Davis, Xavier Davis, Zavia Davis, Zion Davis, and Lashay Davis. Son of Herbert Davis, Sr. and Debra Vappie. Brother of Kayla Short, Karrie Short, Kia Short, and Brittany Vappie. Grandson of the late James W. Vappie, Josephine Vappie, Herman Willis Davis, and Ivy Marguerite Davis. Nephew of the late Leeonise Davis Smith, also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Friday, May 19, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named parlor.
