Herbert N. "Butch" Donath

Herbert N. "Butch" Donath, 79, of the town of Kewaskum, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024, at The Pavilion at Glacier Valley in Slinger.
Butch was born on November 26, 1944, in West Bend, the son of the late Herbert and Marcella (nee Uelmen) Donath. Raised on a farm, he pursued a lifelong career in agriculture. His passion for deer hunting flourished there, and he recently embraced crossbow hunting as a new pursuit. Butch dedicated his time to coaching softball for the women and girls of Farmington. Butch loved watching the Milwaukee Brewers.
Those Butch leaves behind to cherish his memory include five children, Stephanie (John) Westcott, Herb (Tiffany) Donath, Cindy Donath, Debbie (Pat) McFadden, and Christopher Donath; 12 grandchildren, Candace, Rachel, Samantha, and Emily Westcott, Elisha, Tony, Gabe, Sabrina, and Brooke Donath, Patrick, Harrison, and Izabelle McFadden; his great-granddaughter, Kenni; step-grandchildren, Caleb and Cheyenne Arbuckle; step-great-grandson, Braxley; his fur grandbabies, Patron and Kessler; other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Butch was preceded in death by his brother, Robert (Dian) Donath and a nephew, James Donath.
VISITATION: Butch's family will greet relatives and friends at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 305 Main Street, in Kewaskum, on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
MEMORIAL MASS: A memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 5th at Holy Trinity Church in Kewaskum at 11:00 a.m. Father Patrick Magnor will officiate and burial of Butch's cremains will follow Mass at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Michael's.
Memorials to St. Michael Catholic Church is appreciated.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt appreciation to the Hartford Hospital ICU nurses and doctors as well as the staff at the Pavilion at Glacier Valley in Slinger for all the care they provided to Butch.
