Herb was a shining light to all that came into his path and will be greatly missed.
Through the compassionate decision to help others through the Gift of Life Donor Program, Herb has provided hope to many men, women and children who are in need of a life saving or a life enhancing transplant.
Herb is survived by; his parents, Marion Gilson of Bridgeton, NJ and his father Herb D. Gilson, Sr. ( Judy Gilson NC); his children, Chester Lupton, Sarah Taylor, Gavin and Gage Gilson; his beloved grandchildren, Deanna Lupton, Elijah, Jordan, Reed and Wade Hules; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by; his son, Billy J. Whildon, Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 11th at 4 PM at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 2 PM to 4 PM prior to the service. Written condolences can be sent to the family through the funeral home website www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
