Michael (Mike/Fly) Cliver, passed away peacefully at home in Newfield, NJ after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on November 16, 1960, in Elmer, New Jersey he was the beloved son of Doris Carll (nee Coles) and the late Harry Cliver, Jr.
Mike was a devoted partner, son, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Mike lived a full life of happiness, love, and great memories. He was a devoted partner and soulmate to Jequitta (Weezer) Heck with whom he shared a deep love. They built a beautiful life and blended family full of love and laughter.
Mike is survived by his children Michael Cliver II (Tyler), Mark Cliver (Luiza), and Kasey Cliver, and his stepchildren George Heck and Brian Heck. His legacy lives on through his grandchildren: Adrian, Cecilia, Kai, Sutton, and Leddy.
Mike is predeceased by his father Harry Cliver, Jr. and his sister Montrelia (Monnie) Joslin. He leaves behind his loving partner Jequitta (Weezer) Heck; his mother, Doris Carll; his siblings, Patsy Perry (Bob), Peggy Davis (Chub), Dennis Cliver, (Sue/deceased), Beverly Beatty (Frank), Cindy Cliver (Al); half siblings Jennifer Burt (Seve), Harry Cliver, David Cliver, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A proud Salem County native, Mike lived life to the fullest. He and Weezer were inseparable for many years, enjoying time with family and friends.
He was most recently employed as a truck driver at Coombs Farms for 14 years and previously employed with Nelson Farms. Known as "Jersey Cowboy" on the CB radio and "Fly" at the rodeo, Mike was a proud fan of the Cowtown Rodeo where he once rode bareback. Mike's hobbies included riding dirt bikes, fishing in Fortescue, and watching NASCAR.
Mike was a member of Tri-County Lighthouse Baptist Church. A small service for family and close friends will be held at the church, located at 149 West Deerfield Road, Bridgeton, NJ.
Mike will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and forever held in our hearts.

I am so sorry to hear of Fly's passing. I have known him since 9th grade high school. He was a classmate and a very dear friend. May you rest in peace my friend. I will miss you stopping over at the horse pasture to say hello. Lisa Nelson-Burns
