With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Josef Engelhardt, who left this world far too soon at the age of 25. Josef was a vibrant soul whose warmth, humor, and loyalty touched everyone who knew him. He was a beloved son, brother, and friend-known for his deep love of the Philadelphia Eagles, his green thumb, and his dream of building a life rooted in landscaping and the beauty of the outdoors.
Josef found joy in the simple things: tending to gardens, working in the yard, and spending time with the many friends he cherished. His presence was magnetic-he made people feel seen, heard, and loved. Whether cheering on his favorite team or cracking jokes with his siblings, Josef brought light into every room.
He is survived by his devoted parents, Dirk and Julie Engelhardt, and his siblings: Jazmyn, Julian, Jamison, Jordan, Jyllian, and JiAnna. His memory will live on in the laughter they shared, the gardens he nurtured, and the countless lives he touched.
Josef's life was a testament to love, loyalty, and the quiet power of showing up for others. Though his time here was brief, his impact was immeasurable.
A celebration of Josef's life will be held in a private location, attended by immediate family. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Josef by planting something green, cheering a little louder for the Philadelphia Eagles, or simply being kind to someone who needs it.
