Wanda D. Sutton, age 66 of Millville passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, October 11, 2025.
Born in Bridgeton, she was the daughter of the late Paul J. Sutton and Gertrude Fithian Sutton.
Wanda graduated from Bridgeton Christian School and was a graduate of the Bridgeton High School Class of 1978 where she was a cheerleader. She then graduated from Stockton State College in 1982 where she pursued a degree in Social Work. Wanda then became employed as a Social Worker at Bridgeton Hospital and later Inspira Medical Center in Vineland for over 30 years. The result of a tragic fall which led to health issues, she then retired.
She was a beautiful singer and sang at many weddings, funerals and other events. She enjoyed dancing and having fun, loved decorating her home and also loved jewelry often having rings on every finger. Wanda was a lifetime member of the Fairton United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her brother, Michael for whom she was a caretaker; her sister, Margaret McKnight; her brother Paul "Reds" Sutton, Jr. and her dearest friends, James Sutton, Roland Ridgway, Sharol Dennis and Geo along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Thursday, October 16th at 11:00 AM. A visitation will take place from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the services. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made in Wanda's memory to the Fairton United Methodist Church, 20 Main Street, Bridgeton, NJ 08302
