Herbert Heger Obituary
Herbert K ”Bert” Heger passed away on June 13, 2025. Bert is survived by his loving wife Thyra Cleek Heger, his brother Edgar Heger of Kalispell, Montana his stepchildren Kelly Ramey of Vancouver, Washington and Will Stakelin of Rainier, Washington. He is also survived by step grandchildren, Holly Lopez of El Paso, Sara Faulkner of Seattle, Connor Stakelin of Lacey, Washington and Dylan Stakelin of Rainier, Washington. Bert was a member of the Las Cruces Church of Christ and was Professor Emeritus of Educational Leadership and Foundations at the University of Texas at El. Paso, a PH.D. Graduate of The Ohio State University., his bobbies included travel. Photography and the study of history and family ancestry.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025 beginning at 10:30 am at Las Cruces Church of Christ. The burial will take place at a later date.
