Herman Edward Williamson, age 84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 19th, 2025 at Avalon Memory Care in Keller. Herman was born November 5th, 1940 to Thomas and Lessie Williamson in Kaufman County. He graduated from Crandall High School in 1958 and later earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from North Texas State University in 1967. He went on to work for AC Nielson, Frozen Food Express and Waples Platter. In 1981, He started Complex Printing, a digital printing business that was before its time. He pioneered the printing of bar-codes and counted many national companies as his customers. Herman married Lucretia Burney Smith on September 14th, 1978. Herman with two boys from his first marriage, became a loving father to Lucretia's three boys from her first marriage. Herman was very active in church and along with Lucretia taught a Sunday School class for singles for many years. Herman and Lucretia traveled to 53 different countries and made friends all over the world. Herman is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lucretia; his sons Todd of A Coruña, Spain, David (Caty) Smith of Lewisville, Douglas Smith of Bedford and Randall Smith of Grand Prairie; his two grandchildren Jordan Smith and Andrew Johnson; his brothers Thomas Jr. (Diana) and Larry (Wanda); and many nieces and nephews. Herman is predeceased by his father Thomas Sr., his mother Lessie and son Edward. Visitation will be on Monday, February 24th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road Hurst, TX 76053. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, February 25th at 1:00 pm at Cross City Church, 1000 Airport Fwy, Euless, TX 76039.
