Hershel Sullivan, Jr. Obituary
Funeral Services honoring the life of Hershel Ray Sullivan, Jr. will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 211 Atlantic Avenue, Shreveport, Louisiana. Visitation will be held Monday, December 12, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will take place immediately following the service in Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Road, Shreveport, Louisiana.
Hershel Ray Sullivan, Jr. was born October 23, 1953 in Brewton, Alabama to Hershel Ray Sullivan, Sr. and Nell Sullivan and passed away Monday, December 5, 2022.
Buster grew up in Mt. Olive, Mississippi with two sisters and one brother. He graduated with a Petroleum Engineering Degree from Mississippi State University. After receiving his degree Buster worked both domestically and internationally. He lovingly raised his two daughters and two sons and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Buster is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ricky Joe Sullivan.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Meseret Sullivan; daughters, Carol Leigh Muellenschlader and Amber Noel Sullivan; sons, Samuel Messfin Sullivan and Gabriel Ray Sullivan; sisters, Linda Sullivan Powell and Rebecca Sullivan Tebo.
Honoring Buster as pallbearers will be Paul Muellenschlader, Seth Muellenschlader, Gavin Stader, Messfin Haile, Benyam Asfaw, and Randall Stader.
