Hershell Tackett

Hershell Tackett, age 73 of Teaberry, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at his residence. He was born August 28, 1949 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to Mearl Frasure Tackett of Teaberry, Kentucky & the late Walker Tackett. He was the husband of Linda Lou Jones Tackett. He was a retired coal miner and a member of Drift Pentecostal Church. Along with his mother and wife he is survived by his Children: Deonna (Joe) Bailey of Dry Ridge, Kentucky, Paul Bryan (Kammie) Tackett of Vanceburg, Kentucky, Kevin Kyle (Liza) Tackett of Midland, Georgia & Hershell Brent (Brandy) Tackett of Pikeville, Kentucky; Brothers: Glen Tackett of Teaberry, Kentucky & Paul David Tackett of Teaberry, Kentucky; Sister: Rosella Newsome of Teaberry, Kentucky; Grandchildren: Jo Anna, Jessie, Brett, Hunter, Andrew, Vanessa, Autumn, Grace, Grant, Bray Lynn, Brylee & Brenley; Great Grandchildren: Knox, Brandon, Maddox & Lylah. Along with his father he was preceded in death by his grandson: Chris. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Visitation will begin Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 6pm at the funeral home
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 12 noon at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky with Ted Shannon officiating
Burial will follow at Tackett Cemetery, Teaberry, Kentucky
