Hester Hutton, age 72 of Jonesboro, passed from this life Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro with her husband Kenny, son Mike, daughter Chastity and grandson Kyle by her side. She was born and raised by Virginia Poe and Henry Ford Nelson in Rockford Illinois. Her passing leaves her family and friends with a very large void in our hearts. Memories of her and her joys in life will be something that will be with us and remembered forever.
Hester was a retired factory worker for Scentations International. She was preceded in death by her daughter Chris Verkler, her mother, father, 2 sisters, and a brother along with other loving family members.
Her favorite things in life were looking forward to cooking for the family during Thanksgiving, Christmas and Sunday dinners. She had a special place in her heart of enjoying summer events of camping and boating at the lake. She looked forward to seeing her grandchildren and great grandchildren which always made her day.
Not understanding why, she was taken at this young age, but Hester sees and knows that she was surrounded with love by her family and many friends. The pain of our loss cannot be described or expressed of the void in our hearts.
