Hilda Irene Carulli Obituary
Of Level Green, formerly of Braddock, age 98, died on Sunday, June 30, 2024.
Hilda was the beloved wife of the late Anthony "Tony" Carulli for 61 years.
She was the loving and precious mother of Thomas Carulli of Level Green and Dennis (Susan) Carulli of Burgettstown.
Treasured grandmother of Denise Jewell of Edinboro, Elizabeth Ann (Travis) Carson of White Oak, Justin (Amy Newland) Carulli of Morningside, twins Dave (Maura Stewart) Carulli of Seattle, WA and Matthew (Lorraine Denman) Carulli of Stanton Heights and Ginny Rose (Kevin) Vahalik of Richmond, OH.
Hilda was preceded in death by her seven adult siblings and their spouses, William (Helen) Bush, Marie (Art) Molnar, Mildred (Harry) Bernard, Albert (Barbara) Bush, Katherine (Joe) Harvanka, Ruth (Frank) Darak, and Edward (Marguerite) Bush.
Hilda was also preceded in death by seven other siblings who were taken away far too young: Raymond Bush, George Bush, Jr., Robert Bush, Lucille Bush, Margaret Bush, George (2nd) Bush and Donald Bush.
Hilda was a longtime member of Good Shepherd Parish and once was an active member of the Ladies of Charity at the former St. Brendan Church, both located in Braddock. She was an excellent baker and made incredible lady lox cookies with her secret recipe. Hilda enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, playing bingo with her sisters.
Friends are welcome on Friday, July 5, from 2-4 & 6-8p.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 700 Linden Ave. at Cable, East Pittsburgh, PA 15112, (412) 824-8800.
Mass of Christian Burial in Good Shepherd Church, (St. Joseph the Worker Parish) on Saturday at 11 a.m.
Hilda will be laid to rest in Braddock Catholic Cemetery.
