Hilda G Swan

Hilda G. Swan, 83, of Oakland City, Indiana, formally of Evansville, Indiana, went home to be with the Lord, on August 1, 2025, with her family by her side at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Oakland City, Indiana. She was born on May 23, 1942, in Pulaski, Tennessee, to Elbert and Virgie Smith.
Hilda was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church. She enjoyed quilting with her friends from church, making dumplings at church for the fall festival, playing dominos, dancing, going to yard sales, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her three daughters, Susie (Jerry) Basham, Pat Kiefer, and Lisa (Libe) Rodriquez; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her three daughters Terry, Tonya and Sheryl; her three sisters, one brother; and two grandchildren.
A visitation will take place at Lamb Basham Memorial Chapel on Tuesday August 5, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM with service starting at 11:30 AM, Reverand Jim Culver will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Park Lawn Cemetery in Evansville, Indiana.
