Holly Jean Searle

Holly Jean Searle, age 12, of Bonita Springs, FL, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, August 24, 2025, after a courageous ten-month battle with brain stem cancer. Holly was born on February 1, 2013, in Fort Myers, FL, the beloved daughter of Charles R. Searle and Peggy L. Fait. A lifelong resident of Bonita Springs, Holly attended Grace Classical Academy from kindergarten through the sixth grade until her diagnosis in November 2024. A bright and gifted young girl, Holly was intelligent, artistic, and deeply curious about the world around her. She loved music and had a special passion for playing the guitar. Her enthusiasm for learning extended into science, math, and history, as well as languages-she studied Latin and Spanish and had recently begun learning Japanese. Holly also found joy in outdoor activities, including swimming, boating, skating, and rollerblading. She had an extraordinary love for animals, especially birds, which brought her great happiness. Despite the challenges of her illness, Holly's radiant spirit never dimmed. She faced each day with courage, positivity, humor, and joy, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. She is survived by her loving parents, Charles R. Searle and Peggy L. Fait of Bonita Springs, FL; her maternal grandmother, Sandra K. Fait of Dover, OH; her aunt, Christy Boron; and her uncle, Carl Robyn Fait. Family and friends are invited to her visitation on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon at New Life Church, 3971 Via Del Ray, Bonita Springs, FL. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon, with Pastor James Julian officiating. Burial will take place at Naples Memorial Gardens. The family suggests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Grace Classical Academy for a scholarship fund to be established in Holly's name.
