HOMER “JAKE” JAY EDWARDS
Homer “Jake” Edwards, 72, of Deford passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024 in his home, per his wishes. He was born June 27, 1952 in Detroit to Arlene Edwards.
Jake served in the United States Army from January 19, 1970 in Okinawa as a HAWK missile crewman until he was honorably discharged on December 6, 1971. He was a truckdriver at CRST and retired from Air Capital Trucking. Jake was a proud father and grandfather.
Jake is survived by his children: Gale Edwards, William (Lindsay) Guth, Bobbie Jo Edwards, Jake Edwards, Nicholas Edwards, Noah Edwards, Robin (Joseph) Zietz; grandchildren: Julie Edwards, Jessica Edwards, Connor Edwards, Amelia Edwards, and Harley Rose Zietz; brother, Terry Edwards. He was predeceased by his mother and two sisters.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
