Homer S. Rice Jr.

Homer S. Rice, Jr., 55, of Lewistown, passed away at 4:31 PM, Friday, June 28, 2024 in Limestone Township, PA.
Born on December 30, 1968 in Lewistown, Mifflin County, he is a son of the late Homer S. Rice, Sr. and Lillian (Comerford) Rice.
He is survived by his sister, Sherryann Rice, a brother, Mitchell S. Rice, daughter, Marley Cole (formerly Nikki Rice) and companion, April Wagner.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael C. Rice and sister, Lillian Gill Rice.
Mr. Rice was a truck driver with various companies, most recently with HRI, Inc. of State College.
Homer attended Tuscarora Church of the Brethren in earlier life. He was a member of the Mosse Lodge 143, Lewistown. He enjoyed going on drives, mountain rides, driving truck. In younger years he was a bit of an outdoors man enjoying hunting and fishing. Homer was an avid Steelers fan and Port Royal Speedway fan.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 1:00 -2:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge Street, Mifflintown. Interment will be held at New Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal, at the family's convenience.
