With great sadness we announce the passing of Horace Angel who departed this life on November 3rd, 2025. Horace was born on February 3rd, 1953 in Tate, Georgia. He was the beloved son of William Charles Angel and Reba Lousina Glass. Horace was a man of strength and kindness and believed in a life of family and hard work. He is well remembered as a hard worker who never let a job go unfinished.
He is preceded in death by his parents William and Reba Angel, his first wife Judy Elaine Angel, daughter Buffy Elaine Angel, son Horace Ethridge Angel, brother Randall Angel, and sister Katura Angel.
He is survived by his wife Ceresa Massie Angel, brothers Phillip Angel and Forest Angel, sister-in-law Ellen Angel, sister and brother-in-law Phyllis and Lee Brown, and his aunt Luise. He is also survived by his stepsons and stepdaughters-in-law Michael and Cathy Massie, Glenn and Jessica Massie, his grandchildren Joshua Massie, Lee and Tayler Massie, Jay Massie, Randy Massie and Liz Birch, Amanda Earhart, his 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, many nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.
A funeral will be held on November 6th, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Flanigan Funeral Home followed by a burial at Broadlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved by all those whose hearts he touched in this life, and we who are
left behind wait to greet him with a smile and open arms in the next.
