Graduado de la secundaria empezó a trabajar desde joven en el campo con su papa. Se casó con María de la Luz y tuvieron cuatro hijos, Liz Elena, Lorena, Joselynn y Daniel. Se vino a los Estado Unidos a trabajar en varios lugares. Trabajo en el campo, en la construcción y limpieza de negocios y escuelas. Se hizo ciudadano Americano y compro una caza. Miro a sus hijos crecer, e ir al colegio y casarse. También fue abuelo para seis nietos, Evalee, Sebastián, Zoe, Chloe, Eliza y Eliana. A él le encantaba visitar a sus seres queridos y visitar su rancho, San Antonio Carupo. Él era un hombre de mucha fe e iba a la iglesia cuando podía. Siempre le gustaba vestirse bien, al estilo vaquero. Los jaripeos y los bailes eran clave en su vida porque también le gustaba la música. En la casa siempre tocaba música y siempre tenía muchos cuentos de su vida. Él era muy cómico y hacia a la gente reír. De apodos le decían "Lacho", "El Licenciado" o "El Verde".
