Memorial service for Howard Dudley will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, March 21, 2025 at The Heights Church in Cleburne.
Howard Dudley, born on November 27, 1933, in Farrell, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2025, in Blum, Texas. He was a beloved figure known for his dynamic personality and unwavering dedication to both his family and his work.
Howard married Sherry Ann Durrett May 6, 1955 in Gainsville, Texas. They would have celebrated 70 years of marriage this year. Howard was passionate about his business, always keeping busy and ensuring that he left a positive mark within his field. He had a true love for the land, often found working on his ranch where he enjoyed operating his bulldozer. Riding around the property on his cherished quarter horse, FeyRey, brought him great joy, serving as a testament to his profound appreciation for the great outdoors. In his role as a proud "Grandpa," Howard cherished the moments he spent with his grandchildren
Howard is survived by his loving wife, Sherry Dudley; his son Scott Dudley and wife Crystal; his daughter, Kelly Dudley; and his son, Blain Dudley, grandchildren, Rio Berriochoa, Amy Egan, Victoria Dudley, Alexia Dudley, Emma Dudley, Ethan Dudley, Michael Kile, Daniel Kile, and Jordan Kile. His legacy is further enriched by the presence of 17 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind seven sisters, along with many other relatives and friends who admired and respected him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Rudene Dudley; his daughter, Kimberly Lynn Dudley; his granddaughter, Amber Dudley; and his sisters, Peggy Dudley and Roberta Dudley.
Howard Dudley will be remembered not only for his hard work and dedication but also for his love of family and his passion for life. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
