Howard Eugene Frye "Gene", age 73, passed peacefully in his sleep early Saturday morning September 14, 2024, at his home in Inwood, West Virginia. He was born on June 8, 1951 to Robert Washington Frye and India Viola Kent Frye. He was one of twelve children.
He married the love of his life, Mary Sue Frye, on January 3, 1975. He retired after 40 years as a screen paver with APAC Paving. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose and Fraternal Order of Eagles.
He enjoyed life, spending time with family and friends, dancing, working on his truck, and going to the race track.
He is survived by his two daughters, Tanya Frye and Tammy Parker (Jeff). He is also survived by five grandchildren, Luke Monroe, Tyler Monroe, Grace Williams, Olivia Parker, Cameron Parker, and one great granddaughter Azlyn Monroe. He is also survived by four siblings, Ray Michael Frye (Carol), Thomas Lee Frye (Patsy), Lily Ann Carter (Daniel), and Betty Louise Page (Frank).
He is predeceased by his wife, Mary Sue Frye, his parents, Robert Washington Frye, Sr. and India Viola Kent Frye and his seven brothers.
