Howard Gustafson Obituary
Howard graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School, worked as an independent carpenter for many years, and was employed with Kent State University for ten years in the maintenance department prior to his retirement. Howard loved reading God's Word and listening to various preachers on the radio. He attended the Tallmadge Bible Church.
Preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mary (Welsh) Gustafson, he is survived by his sister, Mary Gustavson of Hendersonville, North Carolina, and his brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Lilah Gustafson of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Pastor Zach Reeves will conduct service Friday, December 27, 2024, at 1 PM, at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, 44224, where friends may call from 12 noon until service time.
Graveside service and burial will be held Saturday, December 28, 2024, at 10 AM, at Mt. Peace Cemetery, 183 Aqueduct Street, Akron 44303.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Haven of Rest, 175 E. Market Street, Akron 44308 ~ havenofrest.org
