Howard V Jackson

Howard Victor Jackson Jr., was born on June 1, 1954, in Newark, NJ, to the late Howard Jackson Sr. and Ruth Marshall. Howard was a beloved husband, brother, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend whose impact on all who knew him will be deeply felt.
In 1985, Howard married Julia Woods, and together they were blessed with two sons. At the age of 12, Howard accepted the love of Christ. He became a member of Metropolitan Baptist Church in Scotch Plains, NJ, where he remained a dedicated member for 35 years. He served as a choir member in the Voices of Metropolitan, Male Choir and the NJ Fellowship Choir.
Howard attended Essex County College in Newark, NJ, where he majored in Business Administration. He furthered his education at Taylor Institute, now known as Bloomfield College, where he received a degree in Computer Science with a specialization in hardware and software in 1984. Howard was employed at Trans Net Computer Service and Hackensack Hospital, formerly known as Mountainside Hospital in Montclair. Howard had a passion for fixing and rebuilding computers, and a love for cars, which he nurtured since childhood.
He dedicated his life to caring for his family and ensuring their well-being. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Julia, mother-in-law, Mary Woods, his children, Jermaine Jackson, daughter Aaron, and Howard Oscar Jackson, along with his godson, Justin Robbin, his brother Alfonso, his sisters Millicent and Sybil. Grandchildren, Jermaine, Howard, Cory, Imani, Journey, and Queen Jackson, as well as two great-grandchildren, Quincey and Kahsai, and he leaves a host of relatives, and friends.
Howard was pre-deceased by two brothers, Isaac and Dennis. He will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his dedication to his faith, and the joy he brought to everyone he met.
