Beloved husband of Eleanor (Fioretti) Lavan.
Devoted father of Derek Lavan and his wife Laura of Virginia Beach, Armanda Parello and husband Christopher of Danvers.
Dear brother of the late Claire Drooks.
Adored grandfather of Bailie, Logan, Kaida, Gianna, Alessandra.
Also survived by his loving nephews Wayne, Kenneth and Neil.
Family and friends will honor Howard's life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home 10 Chestnut St., Peabody on Thursday from 4:00PM to 7:00PM and again on Friday at 10:00AM before leaving in funeral procession to Puritan Lawn Memorial Park where Howard will be laid to rest.
Howard was a mason for many years. He loved spending time with his family and will be missed by all.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Occasionally I would run into Howie and he was a delightful man. I worked with your sister in Everett, but remember nice occasions at your home. May his memory be a blessing
