Howard J. Meyer, Jr.
CHIPPEWA FALLS - Howard J. Meyer, Jr., age 85, of Pass Christian, MS, and formerly of Chippewa Falls, WI, left this world to be with our Heavenly Father on August 1, 2024. After a courageous fight against cancer, Howard passed away peacefully in his home, with his family and his beloved dog, Buddy by his side.
Born on February 26, 1939, in Milwaukee, WI, Howard was the son of the late Howard and Leola (Stelter) Meyer.
He served in the U.S. Air Force as a Prop Engine Mechanic and went on to marry the love of his life, Patricia "Pat" (Maynard) Meyer. They celebrated 55 years together.
Howard had been an Entrepreneur and was self-employed his entire life. He was especially happy when he built his dream home on Lake Wissota and upon retirement purchased a condo where he could sit on his porch and watch the sun set over the beaches of the Gulf.
He is survived by his wife, Pat; his children: Howard III, Keith (Lori), Dan (Melissa), Michael (Tricia), Cynthia Boho (Scott) and Catherine Meyer; his grandchildren: Kristopher, Kaleena, Shane, Genesis, Zachary, Jonathan, Andy, Alex, Adam, Ayden, Addisen, Joey, Josie; and several others; along with his great-grandchildren; and great-great- grandchildren. Howard was predeceased by his parents and two brothers, along with aunts and uncles.
There will be no formal services at this time, but a Celebration of Life will be announced in the future.
Howard's compassion, generosity, kind heart, and love for the Green Bay Packers has touched the lives of so many. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
