He was born in Wake County, NC on January 20, 1950 to the late Hubert Morris and Kathleen Davis Morris. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife June Ann Morris and best friend Bill Griffith. Mr. Morris had two brothers; Hubert and Herbert. He owned and operated his own construction business before retirement and was an excellent bowler. He was a Duke fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR, going fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his children Sherri Anne Morris of Morrisville, NC, Chris Morris and wife Carrie of Sanford, NC, Joshua Alan Morris and wife Cher of Frederick, Maryland; grandchildren Daniel Lynch, Kristen Spooner and husband Alex, Chad Shreve, Jaden Morris, CJ Morris and wife Jenna, Ashley Carlton Morris and wife Nicole, Ava Dupree, Jacob Morris and Katelyn Morris; four great-grandchildren and fur-baby Buddy.
