Howard A. "Skip" Osman

Howard A. "Skip" Osman, age 88, of Robinson Township, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. Beloved husband of 58 years to Regina (Fern) Osman. Loving father of Scott (Heather) Osman, Todd (Christine) Osman, Tracey (Dave) Thompson, and Lisa (Nick) Barr; cherished grandfather of Kendall, Carly, Alex, Anna, Alison, Sarah, Samantha, and Laura; brother of Robert (Teresa) Osman, Sally (Art) Kolling, and Don Osman. Preceded in death by siblings William (Miriam) Osman, Audrey (Richard) Yahner, Ruth (Al) Geisler, Elva (Edward) Cavanaugh, and Susan (Ed) Haines; also survived by nieces and nephews. Skip was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He served in the US Marine Corps. and was retired from Equitable Life Assurance after 40 years of service. He also assisted in building the original St. Malachy Church and volunteered at several different church events. Skip always had a smile and thank you for people. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. Relatives and friends received Friday, March 22, 2024, from 4-7 PM at McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, 334 Forest Grove Road, Coraopolis (Kennedy Township), PA 15108. Funeral prayer Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 9:15 AM at the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Archangel Gabriel Parish, St. Malachy Church, 343 Forest Grove Road, Kennedy Township. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Moon Township with military honors. In lieu of flowers, donations in Skip's memory may be made to a charity of donors choice.
