A graveside service honoring the life of Howard J. Silberman, 70, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, January 9, 2023 in Agudath Achim Cemetery. Officiating the service will be Rabbi Sydni Rubinstein.
Howard J. Silberman was born April 26, 1952 in Bronx, New York to Judah S. Silberman and Shirley W. Sperling, who preceded him in death, and passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Charolette Crutcher Silberman; daughters, Barbara Silberman Novak and Ariel Silberman; sons, Joshua Silberman and Daniel Silberman; four grandchildren; brother, Lloyd Silberman and wife, Ellen; sister, Renee Silberman Brown and husband, Louis; brother-in-law, Michael Willtrout; nieces, Mindy Silberman and Jessica Brown; and nephews, David Silberman and Michael Brown.
The family suggests memorials may be made to Congregation Agudath Achim, 9401 Village Green Dr., Shreveport, LA 71115.

I was Howards aunt..many moons ago...He was a special gentleman and I loved him all those years. Unfortunately I never lived nearby, so it was not so easy to share our lives. Peace forever. Aunt Margi

Howard was an special man. I met him while working at A A Synagogue. Later sit with his mother Ms Shirley, who was an amazing woman to know. I will cherish the memories we made together. Charlotte, Barbara and family you have my heartfelt sympathy. Rest on my friends.
