Howard Smith Obituary

Howard truly wore many hats, both literally and figuratively, throughout his life. His diverse path took him through jobs as a plumber, electrician, HVAC technician, salesman, caregiver, and pastor.
His life's journey led him to reside in several places, including Texas, New Mexico, Maryland, West Virginia, and Louisiana, each leaving its own mark on his story. He embraced the diverse experiences that came with each move, getting involved with people who shared his passions. He found joy in gardening, camping, and fishing. He also enjoyed playing various string instruments at church and blue grass festivals, dray car racing, riding motorcycles, and showing his 1933 Chevy. He lived a full life.
He leaves behind a legacy of smiling, joking, and self-reliance. He will be missed. In lieu of any service, we invite you to join us in celebrating Howard's life by sharing your favorite memories or photos of him. Please post them to his Facebook page.
