STANLEY, Howard Russell "Rusty," age 47, of Miamisburg, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024, at his residence.
Rusty graduated from Miamisburg High School, class of '96. He honorably served in the United States Army and did three tours in Iraq. He was always very proud of his military career. In addition, he worked at Mound Steel in Springboro and at the Dayton VA doing surgical cleaning in the EMS division. He was a big jokester and loved being goofy. Among many things, he will be remembered for how much he loved his kids and how proud he was of them.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Stanley. He is survived by his wife of three years, Jessica; three sons, Jaxon Stanley, Axton Stanley, and Joshua Partin; one daughter, Braelynn Partin; his mother, Shirley Stanley; one brother, Jerry Stanley II; one sister, Chanda Mitchell; one nephew, Aden Stanley; and five nieces, Cheyenne Mitchell, Brittney Mitchell, Kaylie Stanley, Jillson Stanley, and Bre Stanley.
Graveside services will be in the near future. The burial will be at Dayton National Cemetery. If desired, contributions may be made to the funeral expenses. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
