Hubert Melton Grigg born April 30th, 1942, in Jerome, Arizona to Melton and Lucille Grigg (Mauzy) and went to be with the lord September 27th, 2025. He graduated from Miami High School in 1960 he then went on to join the Airforce. He loved his job of 33 years at the mines in Miami, Arizona as a Rotary drill operator. He married the Love of his life April 30th, 1977. He loved people especially his family and friends and his love for the lord was unconditional and he never met a stranger that he wouldn't tell his stories to.
In 1986 after trying for years they welcomed their first miracle baby Heather into the world. In 1990 they welcomed their second miracle baby Brittany who completed their small family.
He was always involved with the girls and their school activities never skipping a beat and showing up as their number one fan. He also devoted his life to his family, his church and the Lord. In 2007 he welcomed his first grandchild-grandson Matthew David Pecotte. Then in 2013 he welcomed his beautiful granddaughter Callie Beatrice Pecotte. They were the light of his life.
He was survived by his beautiful wife of 48 wonderful years Sylivia Christine Grigg, his daughter Heather Grigg of Holbrook, his daughter Brittany Grigg-Valdez of Casa Grande, his grandkids Matthew and Callie Pecotte, his brothers Ken " Mac" McKelvy (Ruth Ann), Jim Grigg ( Toni Grigg), his brother- in- laws Mike Castaneda, Tommy Castaneda ( Rose Ann), Charlie Castaneda and sister-in-law Rosemary Horlacher (Don) and several nieces and nephews.
He is proceeded in death by his parents Melton and Lucille Grigg, mother-in-law Betty Castaneda, father-in- law Robert G. Castaneda, brother-in- law Robert " Rocky" Castaneda, brother-in-law Alan Lundy- Castaneda (Bill), sister-in-law Vicky Castaneda, and many aunts and uncles.
In leu of flowers, donations can be made to Calvary Shadows Assembly of God Church in Globe, Az in Hubert's name.
