Mr. Gunter was born in Marietta and was a Machinist at Lockheed Martin where his friends knew him as "Gomar". He was quite a character- very out-going and comical, and also a very hard-working, loving, and caring man.
Mr. Gunter is survived by his wife Donna Gunter; daughters Stephanie George (Shad), Kara Gunter, Courtney Gunter, and Lacy Franklin (Josh); son Devin Gunter; grandchildfen Braydon Beal, Landon George, Cayson Lee-Scott Resko, Coltyn Lee-Callen Resco, Aniha Sky Loctlyn Gunter, and Riley Franklin; niece Amanda Brown, and nephew Jeremiah Washington.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home (1130 Whitlock Ave, NW Marietta) on Friday, September 19th from 5 until 7 PM.
