Hugh Conaghan, 76, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away peacefully at his home on October 18, 2024.
Hugh was born to John and Ann (O’Donnell) Conaghan on April 16, 1948 in New York. He joined the Air Force after high school. He served his country faithfully for four years, before he was honorably discharged.
Hugh was Senior Technical Lead for Ryder System working in the IT Mainframe department.
Hugh loved playing Texas Hold ‘Em. During his retirement he loved going on cruises, and he and his beloved Linda were able to go on 127 of them before his passing.
Hugh was a faithful member of ST. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie.
He is survived by his wife, Linda of Port St. Lucie, FL, daughters, Kathy Putman and April Snipes, 3 wonderful grandchildren and sister, Ann Nelson. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Ann and sister Kathy Conaghan.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 from 2PM to 4PM with a Funeral Service to start at 3:30PM at the Haisley Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port St. Lucie, FL 34984. Burial will take place at South FL National VA Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL.
