Hurley Lloyd Frye Jr.

Elder Hurley L. Frye, Jr. also known as Jay was 64 years old at the time of his death. Elder Frye died suddenly on Easter Sunday, April 20 at Ochsner of Saint Mary's Hospital. He was the eldest son of eight, born to Bishop Hurley L. Frye, Sr. and late Elder Laura Wilson Frye of Thibodaux, LA. Being a very simple man, he loved everyone he met and that feeling was reciprocated by everyone he met! If he affectionately changed your name, that meant you became his favorite person. He was a jack of all trades and there wasn't anything he did not try to fix. Elder Frye is survived by his wife Missionary Darnell Frye, three sons Damien A. Martin, Sr. (Lilly) of Patterson, LA, Anthony J. Martin, Sr. (DJ Lynn) of Boise, Idaho, and Earl S. Moore (Jahnedrah) of Bayou Vista, LA, siblings Fredrick Frye (Nadine) of Atlanta, GA, Sherry Frye Alston of Baton Rouge, LA, Novell Frye (Yolanda), Troy Frye (Iris) of Houma, LA, Gene Frye (Lynn) of Atlanta, GA, Nena Boudreaux (Rayland) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Danielle Middleton (Donnie), Linda Boudreaux (Bill), and Elaine Jacquot all of Thibadaux, LA also loved by a host of nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
