Huston Simmers Obituary
He was born April 3, 1954 in Rockingham County, to the late Clarence and Hilda Jones Simmers.
Huston was a supervisor at Valley Protein.
On July 1, 1972 he married the former Carolyn L. Mongold, who preceded him in death May 7, 2008.
Surviving are two sons, David Simmers and wife Lori, Cody Simmers; grandchildren, Lindsey Crawford, Kasey Simmers, Cody Conley; great grandchildren, David Crawford, Jolene Conley, Colter Conley; two brothers, Eugene Simmers, Steve Simmers; numerous nieces and nephews.
His brother, Doug Simmers, preceded him in death.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday at the Linville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 – 6 PM Saturday at Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.
The casket will be closed.
