I'lisiah Suelita Madison

With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of I'lisiah Suelita Madison on August 29, 2025, in Chesapeake, VA. Born on August 3, 2015, I'lisiah graced this world with her vibrant spirit and loving heart for 10 beautiful years.

I'lisiah was a remarkable young girl whose zest for life was evident to all who knew her. She was a rising 3rd grader, eagerly anticipating the start of another school year. Her love for sports was boundless; she was learning to dribble a basketball with both hands, played soccer with enthusiasm, and even ventured into wrestling. I'lisiah never allowed her disability to hinder her dreams or dampen her adventurous spirit. She cherished every moment spent outdoors, embracing the world with open arms and an unyielding determination.

She is preceded in death by her beloved twin sister, I'lianah, who passed earlier this year. The bond they shared was profound and everlasting.

I'lisiah leaves behind a loving family who cherished her deeply: her devoted parents, Tasheika and Reginald Madison, who provided her with unwavering love and support.

Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by I'lisiah are invited to celebrate her life at a viewing to be held at Family Choice on Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. This will be a time to offer love and support to I'lisiah's family and to honor the cherished memories she leaves behind.

We ask that everyone honor I'lisiah's memory by wearing her favorite color, green.

Though her time with us was far too short, I'lisiah's bright spirit and indomitable courage will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
