Cynthia Madison passed away peacefully September 3, 2025 at her home in Motley, Minnesota surrounded by her friends, caregivers, and cat Silver at the age of 62.
Cynthia René Madison was born May 27, 1963 to Estel (Stoney) and Doris (Reed) Madison in Rush City, Minnesota.
As a young girl Cynthia attended Pine City High School, enjoying many activities including basketball. Cynthia had a strong Christian faith. In 1985 she gave her life to Christ. She enjoyed reading her Bible. She loved shopping, playing board games and snuggling with her cat Silver. Cynthia will be remembered for her fantastic memory and intelligence. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Cynthia is survived by her loving mother Doris Madison; brother Mark (Cheryl) Madison all of Pine City, sister Kathleen Madison of Salisbury, North Carolina; nieces and nephews Michael (Laraba) Nowling, Connie (Kenneth) Darby, Tanner Madison, Telby Madison, Jeff Grothe, Chris Grothe, Julie (Liam) Cussen; great nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
Cythnia was preceded in death by her father Estel (Stoney) Madison; sisters Colleen Madison, Cheryl Nowling; brother Gary Madison; infant nephew Steven Nowling; and grandmother Florence Hadden.
Funeral services for Cynthia: 2 PM: Friday, September 12th, with a one hour visitation for friends and family prior to the service all at the Swanson Funeral Chapel. Cynthia will be interred at Birchwood Cemetery all in Pine City.
Funeral arrangements for Cynthia Madison are entrusted to the Funeral and Cremation Service of Pine City ~ Swanson Chapel.
