Ian Hawk, age 26, of Lakemore passed away unexpectedly on March 12, 2015. He was taken from us too soon but is now with his Heavenly Father.
He was born on January 12, 1989 in Akron, Ohio and was a graduate of Rootstown High School Class of 2008. He was a believer in Jesus Christ. Ian was a friend of Dr. Bob and Bill W. He loved music, four wheeling and helping his friends in AA. Ian lived by the belief that he “was his brother’s keeper.”
He is survived by his father, Kenneth Eisemon; mother, Laura Hawk; brother, Maxwell Eisemon; grandmothers, Patricia Eisemon and Lois Hawk; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 34 S. Cleveland Avenue (Route 532), MOGADORE, Ohio 44260. A memorial service will be held Thursday, 5:30 p.m., at Lakemore United Methodist Church, 1536 Flickinger Road, Akron, Ohio 44312, with Pastor Jeff Gindlesberger officiating. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Haven of Rest Ministries, 175 E. Market Street, Akron, Ohio 44308.
