With broken hearts we announce that Ian Mockler was taken from us on October 22, 2024, in an automobile accident.
He was born on December 06, 2004 in Montour Falls, NY. His paternal grandparents, Ingrid and Frederick Mockler; an aunt, Denise Ford preceded him in death. Survivors left to cherish his memory are his maternal grandparents, Bob and Ruth Ford; loving parents, Susan (Rick) Rilloraza and Eric Mockler; brother, Gregory Mockler; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He had many close friends locally that he would have like mentioned; Caden, Noah R, Dylan, Cole K, Cole B, Zachary B, Trinity, Emily, Noah S. and Maddie to name a few. He had a community of online friends that also meant a lot to him including Jack Maniac, Oliver, Zachary B, Zainy, Matt Dismas Jr., Matthew B, Dan, Aiden, Eden Suki, Robert "Foolz", Tzarbombah, Durr, Dominic L, Aiden Ziril, Coper, Alex, Liam M. and Danghul. All will feel his loss terribly. Ian graduated from Horseheads High School in 2022 and was a 2nd year student at Corning Community College. He lived his life to the fullest. Ian was an outstanding musician, guitar player, song writer and singer. He displayed these talents with performances at many venues across the east coast and within his online community. Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service for Ian at The Bridge Wesleyan Church, 561 Maple Street, Big Flats, NY on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 2:00 PM. Pastor Alex Ruffer will officiate. Those wishing to remember Ian may consider a donation to The Bridge Wesleyan Church in Big Flats, NY. Walter J. Kent Funeral Home is assisting the family.

In the few months I knew ian online I saw him for the talented, life loving, fantastic guy he was. I envied him for his love for life and his outlook on life. I wish I got to meet him and I miss him.
